Default My Modified Airbox

Ive been thinking about doing this for a while. I already had an aftermarket filter in the box, so I bit the bullet and did it.

I carefully cut a a hole around the edge and then put some wire mesh in. The noise is amazing!!!

Incidentally, what kind of value are these cars worth now in the UK??

Mines a Carrera 4 with 102k on the clock

I am considering selling her after 4 years of her keeping me smiling!

Wish I had seen this before I drilled my spare one. I imagine the noise is the same, but yours looks so much better.

That looks very nice... much cleaner looking than the holes I cut.

Can you post a picture of the other side? How is the screen attached, I see bolt holes?

That is the best looking intake yet.

Should be in the DIY section if you have pics of the other side.

I will try and get another picture in a a few days. I drilled some tiny holes and used some small pop rivets to hold the mesh in place. My previous attempts didnt hold the mesh very well.
