Default tech question

Hi guys, I'm new here, and I hope somebody can help me out. I have a 1993 Porsche 964 which runs well for the most part. Last week, however, I was low on gas and put in about 1/3 tank of premium. The car sometimes seems to hesitate now when I get to about 5K rpms, feels almost as if the rev limiter is kicking in, but it is only for a split second, then it is fine as I continue to accelerate. Thought maybe bad gas. It does not happen every time either, most of the time the car runs like a rocket ship when accelerating, but once it a while it putters at about 5K rpms.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a resonance flap issue. Mine occasionally does the same, search the forum for the aforementioned. Am going to take a look at it when we next get nice weather (and I'm not at work....)
