Had my oil stat changed today, 2 hours labour, 5 new oil pipes around the stat and oil and filter.
I bought a stat of a newer car (92) so the oil pipe is different on the top, just used a 92 oil pipe with a different shape to it.
My old one has leaked since i got the car, found out why today.
The case had corroded so the previous owner had used sum glue or sumthing to bog up the outside of the stat!

Thanks very much for those details, just ordered the replacement insert from Porschapart there this morning, its a new insert piece (£60 + VAT) so hopefully that will solve my oil cooling problems.
