targa top question
Is there a difference between a targa top for a 1989 911 and a 1990. My targa top flipped off and was run over. Need a new one and saw one on ebay for a 1985-1989 which exactly like mine. Where can I find a replacement

wasn't locked sucurely, hit a bump and it flew off. landed in the4 fast lane. by the time i got out and tried to retrieve, a pick up truck ran right over it. no attempt to swerve.

You need a roof with with the later roller type latches (the ones that latch with the windscreen header rail). When you find one, you may well need the side windows to be adjusted to ensure they seal with the roof. Check with the seller if it has rollers.

so the targa top on ebay i saw , which looked exactly like my top which was listed as fitting an 85-89 would have fit my 1990. what i am asking really is , is there a difference between the targa top of the 89 and the 1990 964
