From Seight's 'French Film', the idea comes to mind: some of those shots of cars carving through corners, coming toward the camera [e.g., 6:30] -- done in slow motion-- would look Fantastic!

My car is the hitter in the accident around the 7:30 minute mark.

Btw, I have the entire series of race highlights extracted from a DVD. This is the 2nd of 9 races. The really good one is round 9 at Hockenheim as the championship comes down to that race. I think Heger and Alzen spent more time off the track than on when battling in that race.

My avatar is taken from the intro cut scenes for these videos (that's my car!).

As for the cars being beaten up, here's an idea. My car at Imola:

so sick. just watched the whole thing. how awesome were the 90's?!?! too bad i was only 10 years old in 1993..

I have that dvd too somewhere, was round 9 the race where Mikka Hakkinen was a guest driver and won ?

We often discuss the use of bumper beams or not for weight reduction. I think your pic shows pretty well what it looks like without the beam in place if you hit something.

Number 17 in the video was recently for sale in Australia

Anybody know where to find that DVD?

Well, as can be seen, it certainly makes oil cooler access much easier...

I watched this video a few times now.. WOW. This is really cool. That's racing 101 . If anyone knows where to get a DVD of the entire series (or separate races) please educate .

do you have video of the 1993 spa supercup race also? i am considering purchasing a supercup car that ran in that race and it would be helpful to see if it's in the video. thanks
