Default FVD 964 Dual Exhaust with Heat & Cats

Does anyone have any experience with this setup. I know it is pricey but it seems to have all the right components. I specifically want to know how load? Quality of build? Performance? Any info would be helpful.
Thanks Mark

Mark,
Ruf in Dallas is in process of installing the FVD system on my RSA right now. I do have a short video of the system in a car in Germany. PM me and I will send to you. The system can be ordered at different sound levels from around 90 db to 110 db.

Hi Mnmasotto, make sure to check out our Fabspeed setup for the car, It is a high quality system and backed by a lifetime warranty. In addition to quality of the system, it sounds awesome and makes power. We have a few different options to choose from. PM or email me if you have any questions.

Thanks,

You did say "any info", so I'll chime in with mine, although it's not totally applicable. I bought a Fabspeed exhaust system (Maxflo dual outlet muffler + 100 cell cat) that caused me to lose power (10%!). Sent it back for a refund and installed a Dansk (from FVD) dual muffler that brought me back pretty much back to where I should be, but with the sound I was looking for. These were dyno tested in all three configs, not just butt tested. Yes, I know the dyno results can vary, but my butt told me clearly I lost power with the Fabspeed system. I know you are looking for the whole shebang (headers and all), which is much more than I got (lucky you), but I threw in my comments because I was left with the impression (my opinion only) that Dansk knows the Porsche 964 better than Fabspeed. Plus, the Dansk tips matched the bumper profile nicely. When I dealt with FVD, they assured me they would take back the stuff for a full refund (no labor), so you should feel pretty safe. Fitup and finish quality was perfect.

I'm very jealous you are going whole hog with your exhaust. I looked at it on their website. I'm betting you won't be disappointed. Enjoy, and let us know how it works out!

The exhaust is built by M-M Germany. They make racing systems for many teams, incl. Land Motorsport and many other VLN and rally teams.
This is the exhaust:

The price is €2900 excl. tax
They make very nice sounding exhausts. Here is an example of a 996 GT3:
