Wasn't out for any oversight 'gotcha'.
Merely pointing to their ever-diminishing numbers within the mainstream...
As increasingly obvious & taken for granted as the (964-)waters we swim in.

I just replaced my OEM mounts with Wevo's and black pillows. Hayden at Wevo was great to deal with, particularly after I installed the large washer that comes with the kit in the wrong place. I ended up shredding the first set of pillows and had to order another set. Hayden was kind enough to ship the second set overnight and pick up the dime.

It's pretty clear when the kit arrives but just to reiterate: the large flat washer that comes with the Wevo mounts goes directly underneath the bottom pillow (there are two pillows/bushings that come with the mounts). He mentioned they may add a diagram to their site to help clarify as I wasn't the only person that has done this before.

If you are willing to put up with a little more NVH in the cabin, I highly recommend going with the Wevo mounts. They are a relatively cheap replacement for worn stockers. The customer service is outstanding too.

I did the exact same thing, I was on the phone with them a couple times. It's a simple install, but I would contend that the way we (incorrectly) installed the mounts makes sense also...

I detailed my mistake here: http://picasaweb.google.com/udoreisi...lANDReinstall#

Hayden was kind enough to ship the second set overnight and pick up the dime.
I should have pushed harder for that, but they were soooo nice on the phone. Love the mounts!

Resurrecting an old thread!

Quick question for those of you that have Wevo mounts. I need to loosen my driver's side wevo mount a little in order to drop the engine slightly so that I can fit my Pad Keeper (the final nut hits the blower motor during install).

Can I retorque the Wevo mount from the top, or do I have to do so from the bottom? From the top seems easier.

Thanks!

Hi TripleD513:
The Wevo site has the following note: The M12 bolt through the Engine or Transmission mount should be tightened to 40 ft/lbs or 55 Nm. The M12 Schnorr (serrated) washer should be installed directly under the head of the M12 bolt. The M8 hardware should be tightened to 18 ft/lbs or 25 Nm using the original arrangement of washer and nut.

Hope that helps.

No idea. You'll have to check with Rennline.
