Default Wind Deflector for Cabriolet - Classic Additions - Improved/Modified UK

Just put my wind deflector on E Bay item 280364356856. Starts Sunday 28 June at 7 PM & runs for seven days.

Reason for sale is I have been able to replace it with the much more expensive Porsche original bought second hand.

UK sale

Hi KLR10 - the fitting instructions are at http://www.classicadditions.com/clas...-electical.pdf

They are different to mine which show step by step in German. I have the flap going over the rear seats and fastened to the inplace corner hooks.

Thanks Ian, but mine is different to that, it has two grilles.

Mine has one grill in a metal frame which when fitted stands vertically behind the seats and is the main wind deflector. In addition there ia a piece of strong gauze (nylon?) which stretces out horizontally over the rear seat backs and velcro's to the carpet behind the seat backs (or in my case is fastened more positively with elasticated bands to the in-built corner fastening rings that the tonneau/hood cover also fastens to. The photos on E Bay show this fairly well.

Cheers for that Ian. Mine has two metal frames, the upright one and another horizontal one. The upright one folds up and down (if I've got it on correctly).

That sounds like the original (expensive) Porsche deflector. Its what I have replaced my Classic Additions deflector with.

So your upright section folds down as well then? I just find it difficult to put the cover over the roof and tuck it behind the seats and wondered if the horizontal section should fold up as I can't see a reason for folding the top bit down (if you understand my ranting). Unless of course it's to stop you trying to use the rear seats with it attached...

Just to let you know that this has now been sold privately and subsequently withdrawn from E Bay.
