Steering rack leak
I've got a leaking steering rack and know that I need to replae/repair it, but saw this and wondered if anyone had used such with good results.....seems too good to be true!

Well, 2+ years ago, I faced the same problem. The rack was leaking and a boot was ripped and I had a DE event coming up.
So, I ordered new boots and decided to try the Lucas stop leak as an interim fix so I could take it to the track.
Needless to say, I havn't replaced the rack and there are no signs of power steering fluid!
IMHO - well worth the investment....if it doesn't work, you are only out a few quid.

I had a leaky rack this past winter. I priced several suppliers but found that Vertex had the best price ($500 vs $1,200 from everyone else). While its been a short time, so far is working well.
