Default sunroof felt

Noticed the felt on my sunroof is coming undone on the outer edge. What should I use to reglue it back down?

use rubber cement glue...coat both sides (body of car and felt)carefully not to let it drip on the areas that are seen by the eye...coat a second time and let dry then press together.

the gel-type rubber cement works great for carpet.

Ok and will stick to teh paint? It is the under the felt on the inner lip of the paint around the sunroof.

yes rubber cement will stick to the paint on the body of the car.

i just resealed the edges of my sunroof felt using rubber cement glue.

i also used it when i re-sealed my headliner...the headliner was loose under the sunroof and the edge would come loose evey time i opened the sunroof...the rubber cement worked great for this too.

there is a black 3M weatherstrip cement but it is not necessary for this job.
