whats the reason for selling?? it always amazes me when people spend a lot of time, money and effort on getting their cars just right ....and then sell them...surely you cant be bored with it already!!

My guess is that they get so used to the car that they forget the qualities that got them to love the car.... when they sell it and get something "new", once the thrill of the new ride is over they realize how good the 964 was... of course, in the case of the folks that use them for the track this might not apply... maybe they are looking for a car for the next level of their racing experience...
That is, at least, what happen to me with the 996TT... good thing I never got rid of the 964. Nothing wrong with the 996TT... just not as engaging as the older cars.
That is why everytime I see a thread of people wanting or thinking about selling their car I recommend they go out and rent something else for at least a week so they renew their love for the 964...
