Thanks for the nice comments, I agree the springs are a little high so may lower it down the track. As for the wheels I have had them reconditioned and resprayed. I have only changed one thing from original and thats the clear lenses. I am worried about scratches or more importantly someone keying it, so its used only when I can keep an eye on it and not as a daily drive. I also try to keep it out of the rain as so much work went into the underside, even the exhaust is polished!

You've done a good job there. Echo the comments above, it really does look like a new one!

really, really nice. Gonna re-spray mine next year as the paint has worn down, and you can see little pores in the paint.

Did you do it in the original guards red? I've noticed that my colour has a bit of orange in it, while the new cayman red is deeper. Not sure if my paint work has faded, or the OEM colour has changed slightly.

did you do anything to the rear lenses? I hate my purplish coloured ones.

Thank you, yes it's the standard 80K guards red with 3 coats then 3 coats clear with primer as a base. The new paint is far more vibrant and elegant, with the red being much richer (like a farrari). The looks have increased 10-fold! I don't think the original used a clear coat, and mine too was a bit orange and tired (as seen on the left). The rear lenses are new replaced by the previous owner. Let me know if you what additional photos or information.
Cheers Scott
