Default Just installed Evo's cone filter air intake kit - have questions

Really easy install. Took about 40 mins, but I have questions.

As typical, there were no instructions included in the box. The website offered a so-so installation guide, but still left a few steps out.

My question is that I have the copper screw-in valve and the metal bracket left over. I have no idea where they go or what they are for. Can anyone help?

[BTW, I have my old airbox (both covers), the snorkel, and a near-near K&N filter and filter cleaning kit available if anyone needs them.]

Thanks,
ketel

Hello again, Just did the same mod. I used the bracket to secure the vacuum thingy that was dangling behind the old air box; used existing mounts and screw below air intake. Not even sure if this was intended since the supplier provided no directions, but it works.

you already got my k&n filter! LOL. I did not get the roar like the drilled airbox. Kinda discouraged.

you know I went crazy with the dremel and cut too much off the cover. Now it doesn't seal tight.
So now I need to get at least a replacement cover.

BTW, thanks for the filter. So far it's partially good at filtering.

Thanks,

you might think about not selling it. They are getting harder and more expensive to find as the cars get older and you may try to sell the car in the future. K&N filters arent liked by everybody.

LOL Colin, glad it worked out. Partially filtering means more badass noise IMHO.

Hard to put a price on that

It's been shown in tests that they're not what they're cracked up to be.
