Default 18" Speedline for Porsche

Hi everybody,

Anyone know the torque for the little bolts of the 3 piece "Speedline for Porsche"?.
I would like to disassemble mines to clean and repaint them...

Thanks a lot,

David

BBS uses M6 bolts torqued to 145 in/lbs. I believe the Speedline for Porsche are M7 so you can use the BBS values as a guide if you cannot find the Speedline recommended torque.

i have heard if you reuse the original bolts, that you shouldn't torque them to the OG spec b/c they are more prone to breaking.

Holy crap- I wouldn't want that thing coming apart at highway speeds! I'd replace the bolts like Flow was talking about...or I think he was talking about- if the older bolts couldn't be torqued the proper amount w/o breaking it's time to toss them!

BBS wouldn't supply me with bolts, saying they were a safety item, and I will not be contacted again about this......

Jasmine in the UK, were extremely helpfull about specs etc, and my GT3 two piece wheels were torqued to 15ft/ilbs and blue loctited.
IIRC they are titanium bolts, pretty tough things, I only borked one of them dissassembling the wheels before a refurb.

I did reuse the same bolts on the kinesis and it's been almost 3 years.

Thanks to all

but it sounds serious if BBS or Speedline don't want to supply with new bolts. any aftermarket option?

Ping Jim Dorociak. He might have the torque spec. He has rebuilt several sets of Speedlines. Good luck.
