My ‘92 now aptly named “Fiona” is newly refreshed after sustaining some drastic cosmetic damage from hurricane Fiona in Sept. 2022. She’s has a bare metal repair and respray that’s been fully documented with hundreds of pictures. I’m very happy again!
Post storm picture on damage. 110 mph wind on the front of my garage. Two doors failed. And then the side blew out! All better now! This is Manny from Cambridge Collision, Ontario Canada. His work and attention to detail is off the charts. Check him out on Instagram.
Just agreed to bringing mine to the Bridge again this year. 50 years of the turbo should be an interesting event.
Heard the Bridge is a great event. Was supposed to have shown my 2011 GT3 RS there a couple years ago, but had to pull out at the last minute due to family and haven’t found an opportunity to go back since. Hopefully I’ll be able to clear some time next year.
Also had the opportunity to do Greenwich, but decided to skip as friends who frequently do concourses convinced me it wasn’t worth the effort as like Amelia Island the event has been on a decline. Hopefully these events don’t get run into the ground like the Detroit show who was also run by Hagerty like these other two.

I missed last year but wether depending the event is second to none I have been to. Not a concours as much as a car show with no prizes other than admiration with some amazing food and drink and one of the most amazing greens I have seen. It is hard to tell if it is real it is so well manicured. They retained some of the old track and signage of the day which is cool to still see. We used to drive Bridehampton as a club back in the day.
Amelia and Greenwich, actually anything Hagerty buys has changed. Sadly they are monetizing everything and it takes the fun out of the events for veterans but still worth attending if you have never been. I don't think I Can make it again this year but I hear the only great show other than the Bridge on the east coast is Audrian's Newport Concours in Oct. Although the event in Miami last year the same weekend as Amelia I heard was pretty decent. My friend Lake keeps asking me to attend both but timing is tough.
I have a few friends that collect some very unique cars. Non Porsche and it is always nice to see something different.
Off topic I know and tahoe but the view is killer. But for $1.5M so I am told bond it better be.
Throw some amazing vintage cars, superb alcohol and lobster rolls on top and life doesn't suck.

I’ve been going to Audrain Motor Week for the past 3 or 4 years. Except last year as I was at Rennsport then. Really nice events going on. Some of the events try to emulate the ones that go on at Monterey Car Week. The Gathering to The Quail and the Audrain Concourse to the Pebble Beach Concourse. They aren’t quite there yet, but are still great events. Had my 964 Cup car in the Gathering a couple years ago when PCA had a 20 car display there. Unfortunately it rained during my PCA region’s anual concourse the next day so took my GT4 instead of the 964. It also rained the following year when I wasn’t there and they cancelled it altogether. Taking my 997 GT3 RS this year and hoping it doesn’t rain again.
Rennsport was worth missing Audrain for. What an event. I have been considering Monterey car week but I have been told it has not been as good as the past. I might show the turbo at the Zone 2-1 Boardwalk event. They are showcasing cars that end in the year 4. So technically my car qualifies. It is a simple fun event nothing like these by any means but fun if the weather holds out. I brought my 928GTS 2 years ago and it got attacked by a funnel cake. It would have been fine if someone didn't try to clean it off which made some scratches.
Maybe I will make it to Audrain one year. Most of my friends go and one of my sons college room mate took 2nd in the 30 under 30 with his orange 2002 BMW a few years ago.
