Nah, I'd recommend Indy any day of the week! In fact I must have a run down to Santa Cruz one of these weekends and buy you a beer!

How man owners? What year is the car? It may be helpful contacting the PO(s) to find out what work had been done. Spark plug wires tend to deteriorate even if the car hasn't been driven and if they're the originals it is likely time to replace them. Misting the wires with water can help determine if the rubber insulation is leaking electricity.
Hope this helps

If the car has been sitting for 5 years, your fuel (petrol) has probably converted to varnish. My 3.6 turbo sat for 2 years before I bought it and that's the exact issue I had - it took the specialists about 6 months to diagnose. I had to change the fuel tank, fuel filter and injectors. In your case, I'd start with draining the fuel and changing the filter and see what happens.

Hey Frank, the fuel is new. Not to sure about the filters tho.....
I'm quite sure it's still the distributor tho. I'll find out soon..... hopefully.
And I've found another tech willing to take a look for me as they've just recently just worked on a Ferrari.
How do you guys suggest I bring it over, the drive is only maybe 10 minutes. Or go with towing?

You think maybe the belt inside the distributor is broken ?
There is a very easy quick test to do .
With the motor running ,
unplug the connector to the ignition switches one at a time .
When you unplug one of them , you are turning off one distributor / set of plugs / coil / ignition switch .
If the motor will run with A and or B unplugged
then the belt is still working .
If the motor runs well with one disconnected and poorly with the other ,
then you need to look into why it runs poorly on that side .
