I did a search but didn't find my answer. Is there a car tuner/builder in the US that is the equivalent of AP Car Design (http://www.ap-car-design.de/) in the Motherland (Germany)? They build some amazing 964s and I'm curious who their equivalent is here in the US. They do full builds from the body shell on up. Simply amazing!

 

Sadly, there isnt. You can purchase ANYTHING from AP-CAR that they use on their cars though, alcantera interior, kevlar trim, suspension, wheels, engine components, and build it yourself very pricey though

 

First car shown is sweet, best part is that it has 110k on the clock!

 

You can ship your car to Germany to have it modified. I believe the first car above is a Florida car that was shipped to Germany for a ground up rebuild. They are pricey, but I have bought parts from them before.

It's about as close as you can get to being able to order a new 964!! Lovely stuff.

 

Andy, that was actually a factor in my decision to buy back my old 964 - it reminded me that, with these cars, literally anything is possible. If you want a brand new one, even that can be done.

In CT, there is a company called Automobile Associates that can do work like this. They are known primarily for their concours restoration of 356 and early 911s and vintage racing program, however, they have the skills and resources to do things like you've shown. 860-693-0278 - Scott.

 

Yeah, I noticed on their website that this car was from FL. Is the owner of the C4 WB on Rennlist? Would love to ping him/her and ask about the build. Someone is going to have to post some shots of the Porsche Scene magazine feature.
