Default LA964RS - 911 & Porsche World Magazine

I've just returned from 2 weeks sitting on a beach in Mauritius where I got my Porsche fix by reading the April issue of 911 & Porsche World Magazine.

Just wanted to say to Robert York what an awesome car you have. Very interesting to read about it and I admire the level of thought and clever engineering which has gone into making it a reality.

Second attempt at uploading the pics. Hope it works...

Thanks for the kind words. i haven't seen the issue yet, but hopefully the pics came out well. It was shot at Van Nuys Airport here in LA and the photog took a very long time snapping it...and I'm guessing the result will equal the effort. Can't wait to see it....if anyone could cheat and scan a pic or two that'd be brilliant.

I've added a few photos above - just an iPhone so not best quality but will give an idea of how the feature looks.

I just picked up the March issue at the Barnes and Noble last night. We are 1 month behind. My local store usually has a large supply so I'll keep my eyes open for a few copies for others.......

Looking forward to picking this copy up, the pictures look great!

Just fyi, before someone points it out, I think its generally considered a no-no to post magazine scans (not sure about the RL TOS). However as they cannot really be read I doubt the lovely folks at T911 will mind too much (its probably more akin to an advertisement in fact!)

I've been working on a concept for a new project that is more likely to help me keep my license!!!! And after a lot of preliminary design and parts sourcing I think I'm ready to head down that road....which I believe makes me officially insane. I only get one car at a time (house rules) that means the white car would have to go. As a teaser....I can only say that the new project will be powered by a GT3 engine and be super light weight....Oh...and with straight pipes....of course!

Unless you are building the worlds largest snow blower, I don't know how those specs would make keeping your license any easier Good luck, and as always, we will expect pictures.

Idea is to build something that is very fast to 100...last I checked unless your doing that in a 25, they won't take your license away. Its the +150 runs that have "jail" written all over them...BTW, jail doesn't scare me as much as the idea of some knuckle head towing my car....probably on a hook and dolly and not on a flat bed!!!!....if I was in jail and you saw me crying...that'd be why....
