No more humps
Well, the dash cover couldn't be repaired....so in went a pre-loved one
No before shots, but you all know what a humped dash cover looks like
So here is the finished product:

Nice! I just did this over the winter as well. The problem with an imperfect dash is that you look at it all the time. I drove me nuts. Now I'm a happy guy, I'm sure you'll enjoy your "pre-loved" dash too

Looks good. Can't the humps be bent back out? IIRC the dash is a metal frame. Mine has a hump on the passenger side, which I was intending on trying to bend back to true. I also need to re-fix the 3 mounting bolts that appear to have partially come away from the metal frame. Appears that they are just epoxyed/bonded in (?!?) The corners of the dash no longer line up properly with the door caps.

So that is what is supposed to look like!! Must be the first one I see without the hump.
Now... when are you going to get the right wheels for that car?? Looks odd without wheels that were meant for that series... those wheels would bother me to the point of loosing sleep...

You know I am just messing with your mind... Car looks great and that interior is pristine!! (a few of us have seen it in person and can attest to it).
