Are you sure it's a bearing and not the belt/ With the engine on, drip a little water on the belt and if the sequel goes away, it's the belt, if not then maybe the broken belt sensor. If it turns out to be the alternator, the bearing/ bushing aren't able to be greased - you'll need a rebuild.

check that your fan isnt hitting the surround. I need to replace my fan because of the bearings being bad and the fan hitting the lower part of the surround.
