Hi Wachuko, which steering is that you have in there, looks good, thinking of replacing my MOMO Millenium with something a little less "Ricy".

Becker Grand Prix head unit - looks stock, but has full ipod connectivity and bluetooth for phone handsfree. Previously had an Alpine, but a bit to "bling" even though it was more powerful. For speakers Focal Polyglass 5 1/4" two way components in the doors, and the smaller Focal 4" coaxials in the rear (cab). Front speakers amplifier by Kenwood two channel amp under the seat, and small Clarion subwoofer with own amp tucked under one of the rear mats in the footwell. Really ought to try to move that under the passenger seat.
Not quite audiophile level, but good compromise between price and sound quality. Has enough bass and volume with the top down to allow you to listen to the stereo even with a cup pipe at speeds in excess of what you should be doing! And as for the sound choices...early 90's stuff does seem appropriate. Partial to bit of Def Leppard when driving it, especially the Hysteria album... Or the early Bon Jovi from that era as well! ;-)

Can't believe I'm the first to say this . . .
I also have a Nakamichi CD-400 with a JL Audio amplifier 300/2. Though, to be honest, I listen to the Flat 6 most of the time

But you can also get them from (and have them install it):

I'd be curious to know what you guys think of the new Clarion CZ 509. I am considering putting it into my '98 993. I have given a lot of thought to the Nakamichi units in particular the CD 500 and MD-X put I have heard from a local dealer the Nak has gone bust and support anywhere in North America is pretty bad. I have the impression that the Becker CDR 220 is of average quality but not very special. The only thing is I don't want to add an amp.

A couple new Clarion decks, with Bluetooth and iPod features, have me looking again.
These images were doctored with paint.net, the first shows the one you mentioned.
I can't speak for the performance, but I like the understated look, and the display appears non-relective.
This one with no buttons/***** may be too sleek, and doesn't take cds!

The sleek 'hidden button' looks is cool...I don't like the Sony unit my car came with....thinking about a new deck but it's hard to justify the cost of a good head unit when I don't use it very much. The JVC KDAVX44 looks very cool.
