Default Replacement Lower Wishbone Original Porsche or Powerfex Bushes??

I've just found out that both bushes in my front lower wishbones are split and show a small amount of movement.

I understand that the OPC price is about £250 each for the complete arm whereas the bushes only can be replaced with Powerflex bushes at about a third of the price with fitting costs.

Has anyone fitted Powerflex in place of originals? What was your experience/opinion?? Are they better or worse? Are there any after market manufacturer options? Thanks...

Do you mean, control arm bushings? I got these for my car. Great feedback from the folks here and in the 993 forum:

Might as well check your stabilizer links while you are at it... this is what mine looked like before I changed them:

(well, I could be happier [with her ankle up behind my ear]... but those red poly bushings make a fine second place.)

PM Chris Walrod for the red bushing ones. I just got mine and the durometer rating (stiffness) is perfect for my type of usage (street/ with occasional DE). not sure what it is but it feels like around 70 or 80. Any softer might as well go stock rubber, any stiffer might as well go pillow ball/ball joint.

my $0.02

MUCH better price compared to Powerflex's kit.

thumbs up from me though, if you have access to a press.

Try hartech too for exchange arms.
