Rothsport Short Shifter - AWESOME!

Didn't Carl put it to him?
For a while last year I couldn't help teasing Gammer constantly "hey, what's the matter, couldn't get around Carl..."
I can't wait 'till he builds another rental Spec 911 so I can come out and race with the boys - talk about pressure, given the size of my mouth!!!

I love the Spec 911's!

Here's a black one installed with the stock boot cut and rolled inward. The action is an enormous improvement, not a crazy short throw to make the effort too high, just right- and engagement is very positive, so you never question if you haven't fully engaged the gear.
This pic was prior the passenger airbag delete..... I don't miss the airbag!

Thanks, yes, I just couldn't see the detail very well from that picture. Geordie and Provoste added some nice pics that helped. It seems that the stock shift boot can be modified well enough to give a finished look. Now, where is my needle and thread...

Just a quick follow up for those that are interested in the Rothsport SSK...
Here is a quick video of the resulting action and residual play when the Rothsport shifter is coupled to the FD Motorsport Golden Rod (forward and main). I opted for the monoball versions of all, so that I could get rid of the cup and ball mounts:
