ok, wow this thread has grown. I am not going to post install instructions, that is up to Jeff. But what I can tell you guys is that this is a HUGE improvement over stock.

Anything Jeff does is first class and quality tested, on the racetrack...
My problem is getting his attention. I have a 5 car back log. He has no room in the inn until middle of March... that should say something about the work he does... It is second to none...

For those of you that are not aware, Jeff was the pit boss for Alex Job for a couple of years, he has been to Stutgart and understands all years of cars. He is also a very good shoe. When he sets up a car, it is done right. He is the last of the breed that understands what a car should feel like from the seat of his pants...

He is the only one that touches any of my cars.

Give him a call with any question, he will be short and direct but he will be correct.

No, it doesn't look cool.
It is merely what PAG chose to install in the factory Cup cars, so take that for what it's worth...it shifts very well.

Thanks. So just as ugly as the shifter in the normal cars....just feels better.

Cheapskates.
you get what you pay for.
At least with these guys, you pay, but you also get an awesome product, which is more than i can say
for many other suppliers and "911 tuners "
Ask me how i know!

Never said the Cup cars were ugly...was stating that the shifter in the Cup cars are just as ugly as the regular 964/993 shifters. The flattened ball **** doesn't feel good when you hold it and it looks cheap.

Blue - To each his own, I guess. To me it seems totally misguided to put anything OTHER than the best quality parts and products in my car. Personal experience has taught me that the cheap route rarely gets you where you want to be with these cars.

Nine11 - I have to admit that my ONLY hesitation before having Jeff's shifter installed was the possibility that it would stand out too much, visually, in my all black interior. I can safely say that from the first time I sat in my car it has always felt that it belonged there, let alone that the solidity and heft really do change (for the better!) the shifting experience in the car.

Let us know if you decide to take the plunge.

Regards,

Dave

Well, considering my rear spoiler plans are now in the toilet (can't seem to find one I like)....I have some spare change. I have an all grey interior with some black accents on the dash etc....I think both would look great. Leaning towards black...

I completely agree on the point of quality doesn't come cheap. I alway say, nothing good is cheap, and nothing cheap is good. If this P car thing is your hobby/passion, it is easier to justify that extra few dollars for a much bigger smile in return.

Not to belabour the point but why won't this work in a C4? What options do I have? Will the RS kit work?
