Ian,
Thanks for the heads up, I must come and seek you out on Friday, you may have seen on PCGB that I am considering selling my yellow RSL, I am seriously considering an RS CS if I can find one for reasonable money (doubtful looking at Tom's website), alternative could be a cuppie but not sure whether it would be too hardcore for me?
Cheers,
Kevin.

Not too big a deal to convert an RS L into a CS.

I believe Tim is organising a charity donation for passenger rides in a few cars, I'll be offering Kermit up for a few laps provided passengers promise not to puke (don't ask!) and Marc is volunteering to frighten some in his red GT3RS, so anyone wanting a fast lap or five will be in for a treat!

Think I'll pack the kettle and coffee so we can bribe some of the drivers with fresh brews.

Oh and will probably put the floor jack and select bits in the car in case we end up helping out with emergency repairs as we've done before.

Kevin,

My view is it would be a mistake to sell that car and buy another 964RS variant; it's one of the best RSLs I've, in my admittedly relatively small experience, had the pleasure of. There doesn't seem to me that much point in swapping it for what in all probablities will be an inferior example of a Cup or CS variant when there's not that much difference in the overall experience of the 964RS ethos.

FWIW

There is a spare place on the track if anyone wants to go at the last minute. See this thread on Pistonheads:

Brillian day. Was so busy taking passenger rides in wonderful Porsche metal I didn't get much chance to get the camera out. But here's one for Low964 to show the very low stance of mine on the new KWs

And the new tyres I bought while I was there!

Steve your car is lookin real good, the ride height looks exellent

them tyres are so soft, they left my finger print in them

How much time a lap do reckon yoy can shave off wiv your current set up?
Youve gotta b a second or 2 quicker.

Today i must ov seen a million+ £ ov pork, wowsers! Sum proper hard core p-cars doin it real. Nice.
The unlucky fu@@r in the GT! My heart bleeds for him. (front and back in the armco, cars proper nailed!)

It was a mk 2 996 GT3 that tangled with armco. Nothing hurt except the car.

No spacers on mine Low.

Russ, the car should be a lot quicker now but I don't time myself, I just go out to enjoy what it can do.

Loads more pics of the day at the link below (taken by Jason, one of the 964RS lads):
