Default KW Variant3 - Is there a catch?

Reading the literature it seems you can have it all with KW V3, i.e. comfort on the road with improved performance at the track. Now obviously there has to be some compromise but the science behind the claims does seem quite convincing. So does anyone have any real experience of this system on a 964 and how well does it measure up to the claims? I use my car purely for fun, i.e. weekend drive and track days when I can and my suspension is still on the original shocks at 118k miles, so even though it sails the MOT they must be past their best. So anything will probably be an improvement and I am leaning towards this relatively recent offering for 964.

I have them for road use only and on a soft setting are great. Can imagine when you crank the settings up they would be very competitive on a track too.

I've got them on my car and they are light-years ahead of PS009 or 10 or even if they come out w/an 11. If tracking you might want to look at the club sport variation...but the V3's are really quite excellent.

I have the Club Sports on my 964. They are better than the PSS offerings IMO. Be aware of the ride height requirements (for any kit) and read carefully before you buy. Take measurments and be sure you are fine with the recommended height range (per KW & the installation brochure). They do not allow you to lower enough for my preference. My mechanic installed and went for ideal then raised to RS height. He then measured bump stop to top of strut body. Still was not a safe amount of shock travel so had to raise it higher. In the KW install instructions they use center of wheel hub to fender measurement for a 17" wheel. The minimum distance is 12.6 inches (x2 for ground to fender) for front and rear axles. BTW, spring rates for CS: 344 - 975 F and 688 - 1148 R.

It does say approx, what was wrong with the 12,6 (320mm) measurement, I have some coming this week, and think that will be ok, did you have to go higher??? If so why?
mine are V3
