There is less info available on line for CS no claims of how much it lowers the car, guess they are aimed at the track not the poseur (me)......

I know it's a slippery slope but I would highly recommend adjustable drop links. Like I said, I can get you a set as good/better than anything out there for $350 front and rear, guaranteed to fit (no interest, but I'm super happy with mine). I would not spend the money on a pro alignment/corner balance without them and it does make a difference. Otherwise, you get preload which changes the balance when you hook the links back up to the bars. I experienced this problem when lowering both of my cars and went with adjustable. Plus, it can be a PIA if you change settings on your bars getting them hooked up again without them.

If you have 18" wheels you will likely be fine if you want it to look low. 17" will show more gap. To give you an idea, measure from the center of the hub cap on your wheel up to your fender 12.6inches or 320mm and that's the low range limit of the fender for lowering your car (according to KW spec).

These are very good shocks for the money. I wish the shock body was a little shorter to put you in more of a racing ride-height. Adjustable camber plates are not available for the CS, as they show in the photos on their site. Another thing to consider is not having external canisters for adjustment and if that's important to you. KW make them in their racing line and maybe for V3. It's a PIA to reach the rebound adjustment on the rears without removing the airbox cover on the right side of the car and you must remove the heater blower on the left side for access. You also have to unscrew the bracket behind the blower to lower several lines for access.

Mine are 330mm rear and 350mm front at the moment. Is 315mm possible?

I would ask KW. I had my my guy push them on the same question and they would only tell him- any lower is out of range and they do not recommed it. I'm not sure how they handle and if there are consequences / damage to the shocks, etc. which could affect the warranty. I'm also intersted to know if anyone has run them lower than spec range and how they hold up/perform...

Fronts MUST be replaced. I'm not sure if rears are required but as someone mentioned earlier, geometry begins to change the lower you go. I'm not sure what the range for the RS links are. I didn't like the rubber material on stock or RS. Noticed when mine were replaced, one of the boots was cracked so I felt better about going with the adjustable/solid. They do make a little noise over bumps but it's an additional reminder of what I spent the money on.

I think I have a photo somewhere I can dig up of my links if anyone is intersted in a visual. Let me know.

It's a "not so great" photo of a front (notice the bend, like stock) and a rear. These were also designed to have a longer range of adjustment than the others he was familiar with on the market.

Go to the KW web site and in their tech section they have downloads for install. I think they print in German and English. I've got the spec sheets and all that but in my tool box at home. If I remember when I get home tonight I'll pull them, but easy enough to find on-line.

Pics I have are two high-res. If you want one shoot me a PM w/your email and I'll send it to you...maybe you can shrink it and post it.

Otherwise, go grab a copy of the November Excellence as its featured in there w/plenty of pics.

i'll worry about bars and droplinks when i replace the steering arms with the RS one...

so thats that issue sorted - but what about the rear toe when RS or sub RS on standard spring plates?
