It's a ménage...

trés cool.
Sorry, no pics. But she fits the seat buckets a lot less tightly than I do. Her first 911 stoplight experience accelerating to 3rd, "-- wow!" For that, and other reasons, it seems this will work out fine.

That's enough though!

..glad it has not been a disappointing weekend for some while I struggle to unblock a backed-up drain!!

Good job Lonnie!!

I actually got a lot accomplished this weekend:

- Installed and hooked up the gauges
- Changed the front suspension
- Bled the brakes
- Changed the oil - I had a bit of a spill of course, but by now I've come to expect it...
- Fixed my rear deck lid release
- Fixed the door rattle (I hope)

Also was able to check my daily driver for codes (going to the dealer tomorrow, so might as well take care of that too)

Needless to say, I didn't do much else, other than working on the car and taking a dog for a couple of long walks up in the mountain.

Now I'm off to celebrate Chinese New Year with my wife. Dim Sum here we come, yay!!

Here's a few pics:

I finally made some time to get the rear bumper all fixed up. I have it just about re-mounted. I had one of the corners replaced and repainted. I have a bit more work to do. I need to replace the stock rear spoiler, and sell my fiberglass one. I have decided I like the stock look a bit more than the wing. She's going to be super clean once i get done with my work.

Any luck connecting the WB O2 to the DME?

No. It will have to wait till the spring, because it requires welding. Right now I've temporarily hooked up the gauge to the DME (port 28).

I have the same noise coming from the door on my car ILKO.
If I crack the window it goes away!
What was it?
I am modifying my center reflector like yours.....
It's a pain in the a** to find the "RIGHT" light sockets.

Dwane, I took the door card off and put a bunch of insulation between the locking **** and the door handle (my car has the RS door cards, yours might be a little different).

What light sockets did you end up using?

Where do you have the jack stands placed under the car?
It doesn't look like the jack points?

Well it's only a couple of weeks later, but I finally got some things accomplished.....

bumper and side skirts removed for repaint
motor mounts installed
aero mirrors installed
dual exhaust installed

All in all, these were all easy jobs. What I can also say is that the more I learn/do myself, the bigger my list gets. I certainly think I will take care of the care better than the PO's. The 25k rule is in full effect here (and I'm not finished yet).

I've found some random oil leaks at the thermostat connections and also connections at the cooler. I'm in the process of cleaning everything and I will tighten and see what happens.

I previously had my mechanic install H&R reds with the stock shocks as a short term solution, I noticed today that the left side is 0.5 inch higher than the right....I've only put 200 or so miles on the car since I had all of this done in September. It was not like this before as I had measured the height at 25.25" at the rear on both sides. Not sure about this one, but I might try to do a DIY install of some Bilstein HD's and a realignment before summer. I'm a bit apprehensive about this, but mostly because I've never done it before.

Otherwise, I'm really enjoying learning about the car. (oh, and driving it is pretty good too!!!)
