As other said nothing beets the 3.6t speedlines for looks although I am happy with my Fikse's on my C2 nice light wheel.

I wanted a light wheel that does not look too bad on a 964. I like them:

Those, and original RS magnesium Cup I's do it for me. Same as Fuchs and 3.2 Carreras, the original combo is perfectly suited and cannot be improved IMHO.

And I'm not being a purist... they just look sooo right!

Oh and maybe cup cars w/3 piece 18" bbs's

I do like those wheels - 18s though yes? i read the weight somewhere, they are lighter than 17" cup 1s..... hmmm maybe i could go to 18's....

The Carrera Cup 2 wheels from a 993 look pretty good on a 964.

I have the 17 inch wheel weight chart somewhere .... The 18 Carrera Lightweight 5 spoke is my personal favorite ....

Yes, those 996-wheels are 18". However, I feel my car runs smoother with those wheels than with the stock 17" Cup mag wheels. Maybe its the tyres. At any rate, with my very short gearing, they work perfectly well.

At the rear I run 21 mm spacers. With the rolled RS fenders this is no issue.
