Default C4 braves the first big snow

Got about 5 inches by the time I left for work this morning. Handled great with the snow tires, traction was not an issue. Only problem was the lowered suspension causing a plowing effect throwing mountains of snow at the windshield. Made it safely and looking forward to the ride home.

Nice, might want to leave early today lots more snow coming. Unless you want to see how it goes in 10 inches of snow. Btw thanks nice to see Porsches in the winter time around here it helps me make it to spring. Drove from Ann Arbor to Detroit this morning in my Volvo unlike you I'm not looking forward to the drive home.

I take a small brush with me when there is snow here,
because the snow and ice inside the front rims makes it out of balance.

I am finally learning that a little power, instead of brakes helps in certain low-traction situations... But ain't that the Porsche way... :-)

more pics from the way home and finally in the garage. Getting up the drive was the toughest.. plowing all the way. My wife was impressed.

Great pics.

I wish my 993 was a C4 for the winter...... I had trouble getting up some hills around my house and thats with brand new winter tires on.

One thing I did for deep snow was remove the front air deflectors that mount to the front control arms, much less snow getting rammed into my front wheels.

I braved the snow today as well... only to come home to my uncovered parking space. Can't wait to see what it looks like tomorrow morning.
