I've used mine a bunch of times. Mostly just to try it. I enabled it to get up my drive a couple of days ago as it was covered in ~6 inches of snow. I know that it would have gone up without the 4-lo, but I feel that it's good to exercise the car.

you just let all the wheels turn at same speed, no wheel can spin faster than another, so nothing special on the straight but on a turn it could be something different.

I've been driving mine daily, the only problem I've had so far is when it was -42 degrees Celcius here, the fuel lines gelled I think, I had cranking, but no fire. I'm also lowered.

Cody, in your pic there's a cord going to the rear of the car - what do you have it hooked up to? (i've been trying to figure out an equivalent for a "block" heater for years - made more difficult by all the cold oil sitting in the reservoir and external lines)

I do love the heat exchangers for winter heat, esp. when it's really cold. They heat up quick and pump out more cabin heat than any water cooled vehicle i've owned.

(are you running snows on those big wheels?!)

I'm using a stick on pan heater, but I think I placed it on the wrong place, I have it on the block and I think sticking it to the oil reservoir would be the better place. I'll post a picture of the pan heater when I'm on a real computer. I actually enjoy driving the 911 more than my Jeep when it gets really cold because it throws out more heat.

I'm running Blizzak LM25's on my 17's. The rears are 255/40/17. The car sticks amazing and we have a LOT of snow and ice here. My Jeep I'm running Michelin X-Ice and I like the Blizzaks better.

I'm sure Olds gets more snow and ice than beautiful, sunny St. Albert

I'm running standard size Nokian Hakkapelitta Q's (sp?) on the original 16" D90's (205 and 225). And no problem with lowered suspension - it helps clear the roads for others
(BTW, I did use the 4 wheel lock and was the first one at the office that day )

Haha, I'm so used to people on the car forums being from places that get 2 inches of snow. I didn't even look at who I was replying to, that's what I get for replying from my phone.

Canadian Tire sells the Polar Ice pan heaters, I've bought five now for different vehicles, they really work.

Ok, I had to try out the C4 in the snow. It was not bad even with summer tires...After the second picture I went 10 feet further and got really stuck on ice and snow pack. The car rotates very fast on ice without any encouragement. I turned the *** to the right, then left, heard a "clunck" and after some aggressive rocking was back on the road. People driving by were giving me that "you are so stupid, how do you own a Porsche?" look. With blizzaks these cars can go in the shallow stuff.
