Default 100-cell sport catalyst -> Anyone have experience?

Hi,

I have a question for you. Has anyone install a 100-cell sport catalyst on a 964 (row)? I heard about the increase in power using the cat bypass but I would like to run legal and here in Spain i do need some cells . so Is it really worth?, Which brand do you recommend?

I have also a primary cup bypass.

Thanks a lot,

David

I got mine fro Maxspeed and I' m very happy with it. Neat increase in highs, good sound and emission-friendly!

I have a Dansk one and never put in on a dyno for before and after but (combined with a cup pipe) I get a lot of compliments on the sound.

My car came with one, but I removed it and put it in the corner with the complete original exhaust system. So, no real longterm experience...but it sits in the corner nicely.

D666S,

Should you decide to go with the Dansk unit....The fit and finish is perfect and they use German cats made by 3 of the best german suppliers. The cats are either HJS, Emitec or Oberland. The part number that you would need is P0-92260S (Dansk part #) or 210 111 964 01 (FVD part #), it retails 505.00 Euros (Since you are in Spain). They are in stock at Fvd.de

No problems at all with the Dansk except getting the old one off was a bugger.

I have the Maxspeed.
Customer Service was no worse than most.
Build quality appears excellent.
Fit was perfect on the exhaust. Mounting holes for the lower shield wasn't even close.
Sound with Pri Bypass is fantastic.
