Anthony, thanks! That's the idea I had. Do you happen to have a suggestion for the rear?
You can probably retrofit the old SC style plastic flaps to the rear. They were a cheap solid piece of plastic that bolted to the supports. Don't have any pics but you can try posting on the 911 forum and see what they say there. I don't think anyone made a mudflap for the rear of a 964. You could also try clear bra on the rear bumper sections to prevent damage.

I almost crossed the line. While not a traditional P-car, I did take a gander at a used Cayenne S the other day.

Go for the turbo if you can swing it.

Chuck, AFAIK they are quite agile and drive like cars, not trucks.

I looked at used Cayenne prices a week or so ago. Holy cow, they are cheap! Cayenne S for $30K, a Turbo for $40K. Not bad at all. I just don't want to be stuck in one as a daily when gas prices go back up.

So right now I'll just make do with what I have. My 1.8T can nevAr lose - 30MPG

I am happy with 16-18 MPG city from my CT. I was looking at an 08 GTS or turbo but they don't want to give me more than $40K for my CT with only 30k miles on it. They are truly amazing for an SUV. Style is subjective but performance and handling is unsurpassed. The MB ML 63 might be faster but it has nothing on a CT.

I saw some 'tail of the dragon' video from two years ago when Michal had his Toureg, so I know the platform does respond well to driver input
