Why no low mileage 964's ?

I have a 1990 964 C4 with 44,000km (approx. 26,400 miles).
It's not that it is garage queen but up here in Canada there is only six good months to drive her.
I only get to put on 2,000 to 3,000 kms a year.
Also I have to split the sunny days with my 335i cab.

I see a disproportionate number of low mileage Tiptronic (as opposed to manual trans) 964s and have always suspected that it's because Tips are disproportionately bought as weekend toys for non-enthusiasts who don't drive them much (these are usually cabs or targas, not coupes) or they're low mileage because Tips aren't very much fun to drive. JMHO.
