I have a 1990 964 C4 with 44,000km (approx. 26,400 miles).

It's not that it is garage queen but up here in Canada there is only six good months to drive her.

I only get to put on 2,000 to 3,000 kms a year.

Also I have to split the sunny days with my 335i cab.

That would be mine, though the car now has 8,800 miles. It's still for sale and the asking price has been dropped down to $31,000. I figured it would be gone by now at that price but I guess people can't afford to indulge right now.

Just run in at 170,000 miles!

Whatever the mileage, stuff still needs replacement on cars of this age. It's just different stuff depending on the mileage.

Interesting and mixed replies

That's what makes RENNLIST a place worth visiting each day, at lunch time in my case !

I see a disproportionate number of low mileage Tiptronic (as opposed to manual trans) 964s and have always suspected that it's because Tips are disproportionately bought as weekend toys for non-enthusiasts who don't drive them much (these are usually cabs or targas, not coupes) or they're low mileage because Tips aren't very much fun to drive. JMHO.
