What's the design of the RS mounts?
Can they wear out like the standard mounts? Is there rubber, or some other flexible element?

Here's a picture of an RS mount kit if that's of any use:

I am pretty sensitive to road noise and I really only found the WEVO's to be slightly louder than stock. Your milage may vary I suppose.
Mileage?

I actually noticed my fiberglass sunroof making noise more than anything else. I have no sound deadner (car is 2650 with 1/4 tank) so she is sporty but not too loud in my view. but then as I said, I don't care.

I have the Wevo black and wish I had gone with blues. Big improvement in shifting, especially down to second. Don't understand the complaints about noise or vibration. Barely notice more vibration and no noise increase for me at all.

With the Wevo blacks, do you need to reinforce the engine carrier? Any running them without doing this?

I have Wevo engine mounts, noticed a distinct improvement in gear selection, did not notice any increase in noise. But then again, like most racers, I wear ear plugs inside my crash helmet at all times.

Geoffrey, you need better ear plugs....

i'm guessing a solid mount is a bad idea? That would be very easy to make...
