I prefer the feel of the 964 C4 brakes over anything else I've driven (993 feels the same though) and for sure, the ABS will kick in well before the pedal is on the floor.
Yeah I'm a big fella like yourself, just fatter probably . As above I think the Brembos have something to do with it.
It takes 23-27 pumps to get a hard pedal with the ignition off, and it's extremely hard. I actually drove the car in Japan for 200 miles like this when I first picked it up, not knowing there was a problem as the leak had happened over there. When we first fixed it I over there I nearly went through the screen every time I hit the brakes.
