Default 996 GT2/3 front calipers

Anyone there have done this modification ?
My frend sell a couple of calipers (996 gt3 mk2, the same of gt2, yellow ones).. and I should want to fit them on my 964 c2 , with 18" wheels.
What kind of rotors works with this calipers on a 964?
Thanx!

Won't fit without major modifications. You're better off getting 993TT calipers and brackets.

This post shows the difference between the 996TT and 993TT calipers: https://rennlist.com/forums/showpost...38&postcount=3

I would imagine you would need custom brackets. I have no idea what size they have to be. Depending on the brackets you may use 965 or 993TT rotors or maybe even 996TT?

Also you need to check if the brake lines are the same. 964 and 993 connectors are identical, not sure if that's the case with 996 cars.

some news..
yellow ones fit only with 18", but I still have some omologation problem, I can't use them on road.. for the moment.
With 17" wheel fit 996TT calipers, with an adapter I've put on (the same of yellow ones and probably the same of big red?.. if you know tell me inter-axle holes of big red).
For rotors I use 996 TT disk, but don't fit perfectly.. the two "locker holes" are in differnt position, must do the holes in right position.
Calipers are very closer to wheels, but everything seems ok.

.. to be continued ;-)
