Thumbs up

Back in your possession -- Good news, indeed.

... it was determined that the party at fault's insurance policy expired 2 days before the accident.
You know... [day dreaming] ...sometimes you wish for the days of indentured servitude.

Or, public pillory.

Here they are finally, unfortunately with a camera phone. It seems my digital camera was a casualty in the accident.

Haven't had a chance to do any sort of detail work - 35 degrees out... Also, I apologize for the london-ambulance look with the clear/orange/clear front lenses, but I'm waiting on a silver-coated amber bulb to arrive before I can throw the remaining clear lenses in.

That front license plate is advertising the accident nicely.

Parts: $5,257.99
Labor: $2,620.26

+ paint + tow + tax = $9,066.31

the shop fixed some other non-accident related paint issues and replaced the vinyl/rubber molding around the right rear passenger window, which had some pretty significant cracking - both of which were included in the above price. So, not counting the tow, the adjuster seems to have given a pretty accurate estimate.

The insurance company paid $1,000 for the rental, as the ceiling for what my policy allowed, and I came out of pocket an additional $100 for a few extra days. Driving a P.T. Cruiser around for a month was pretty demoralizing.

A bit OT, but if you like your spoiler up all the time, you can take a simple trick from us 964 Cup guys and simply raise the wing and then unplug it. Your warning light will go on each time you drive away from 0 mph, which you can turn off with the "!" button. Perhaps that hassle is less than raising the switch manually?

We lock our wings up so that in case of failure they are up.

Thats actually a really good idea, and one that I've never even thought of. Question though, as I use my 964 as a daily driver, is there any harm as far as rain/snow having easier access to the engine compartment when the spoiler is raised?
