Default RS vs C2 arms...

does anyone know the physical differences?

I'm running RS + 15mm ride height to get RS geo settings, but i'd like to drop it... but need to know where the differences are...

A-arms are the same. Just a bit stiffer bushing.

Matt,

I'm sure you could get down a little lower - say, 7 or 8mm lower than you are - but it's not the lower wishbones that are the problem. Dropping the C2 to around the RS level creates a geometry problem with the anti-roll bars. The RS drop links cater for this. You also start running into problems with bump steer where the suspension movement causes the length of the steering arms to lengthen, causing toe out when you hit a bump. When the suspension is correct the steering arm is at it's max at the normal ride height and suspension movement up or down can only cause toe-in. The RS and Turbos use different wheel carriers but I don't know if the steering arm angle is different as it is with the 993RS.

Regards

Dave
