HoBoJo, pretty much a direct fit, 3 mounts fit directly the rear rail next to the tunnel needs elongating. Keep your cable for power and just patch in the red and brown for tilt, the based in manual lift. I have to say they're a way, way better seat than the original Sports and you get a real nice smell of new leather..

It's good to hear that the electric tilt works - I was wondering about that. . I found the spring lever for the back rest terrible to get comfy with my original seats.

The 964 must have different mounting points than the 993. I can line up the front and bolt it up, but the rear mounting point will end up somewhere way before the rear mount on the 996 rai. Which is no big deal, except it is right below where the gear rail for the power seat. The 996 have the gear rail for the power seat mounted right on the seat rail.

Robin 993DX,

I love the "testbench" with the bike battery as power source!

Anymore pictures of the 996 seats in a 993/964?

Ciao,

Daniel

Robin and others, did you ever figure out how to bolt a 996 or 997 power seat into a 993 or 964?

It appears that the manual seat can be fitted by bending tabs, but power sear warm gear is right inside the rail and there is no way to mount up to the 993?
