Default UK Genuine Porsche parts supplier please

Hi

Does anyone have recommendations for mail order Genuine Porsche parts suppliers for the UK?

I'd like to be able to order by part number and have the parts be correct more often than not. Local main dealers are charging maximum prices....

Cheers

Andy

Can you not order via pelican? Surely parts would be half the price, even with shipping?

Berlyn Services at Ilfracombe - http://www.partsforporsche.co.uk/. The proprietor,(Bert) is well thought of and helpful. I haven't had the need to use his services yet, but see the 964 forum here in the UK at http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/porsche964/

The price of shippping, duty and VAT usually compensate for the lower price.

I've always had great prices and service from Exeter OPC, if you're a club member don't forget to ask for the extra discount. I would also recommend Berlyn services for the more common parts.

Another recommendation for Exeter OPC; Chris is the guy to talk to. Happy to post parts and very helpful, plus discount, even though I am not a PCGB member. You need to watch the prices on those specialist sites for OE specific parts; Porsche do not give any kind of reasonable trade discount and as such the specialsit site prices are often higher than the OPC parts counter. Shop around and always ask the OPC for a price first....they are often surprisingly cheaper.
