Default Best Mod

Just curious. Two Questions:
1. What is your most favorite modification?
2. What modification would you most like to do next?

My favorite mod for my 964 was the secondary bypass and the one I most wanted to do but never did was to lower it from the factory SUV ride height.

For a race car or street car?

For both, I'd say a brand new windshield. Amazing how bad a 14-16 year old windshield can be!

Next - new suspension - if you have a stock suspension for a street car, it couldn't be any good at this point, regardless of mileage.

Best mod for me is a 5-way tie between suspension, LSD, seats, supercharger, and exhaust. Next thing on my to-do list is a secondary oil cooler. Already have the parts, just need to find the time to do it. Most likely it will be in the winter, since I'll be draining the oil and I'll most likely do a valve adjustment as well.

Garrett, the new windshield is great. I just had one installed and I felt as if there was no windshield in front of me. Everything was so clear!!

Primary bypass is easy, removes weight, is not loud (no question it is louder) and might add a couple of horsepower. Next: manual steering for more weight reduction and more direct steering feel.

1. I also agree that driver training was the best and certainly the most bang for buck. Though fitting recaro PPs is a close second.

2. Add a cup pipe - it's in the garage waiting for me to do it

Is there a front bumper mod/replacement that is more functional and will provide for better service (air flow) to elements such as to the oil cooler and brakes?

You can replace your fog lights with brake ducts:

(picture of my old car)

On my current car I have them routed to the oil cooler(s) but they look the same on the outside.

I am torn between the exhaust and suspension....oh and the clear fronts...... and maybe the renspeed pedals... the new colored wheels.... yeah, the painted rear brake lights too.

Now the two mods that I could do without are the chip (maybe I feel more power... maybe wishful thinking) and the stereo and speakers. I hardly ever listen to it b/c the car sounds so good!
