Any chance someone can recover the "after" pictures and post here?

It was an unfortunate circumstance with a lot of bad luck, and I'm sure with plenty of culpability to go around if we wanted to explore it. I'd rather not go into great detail and am frankly thankful that it is behind me. Everyone walked away, which is the most important part.
I'd be glad to talk with anyone about it around a bucket of iced Rolling Rocks sometime.

That ad floors me. I can't believe there is no indication of the crash from pricing or description. When I was looking for my RSA, I probably called on 15 cars for sale, paid for 3 PPIs, before pulling the trigger. One guy was telling me how great his car was blah, blah, blah. I specifically asked him if there was any damage history, and he said no. Carfax showed instantly that it had body repairs. I confronted the lyin' sack, and he said, "oh yeah, I think a tree fell on it." I wonder if he was the same douche as this bag from SSI?

"very clean and ALL SERVICE UP TO DATE".......I would hope so considering it was just fully repaired. Crooks. Not hard at all to say "Slightly Overpriced salvage RSA with full repair" in the ad. I'd be pissed if I found out after the fact or wasted my time on a car that I had no interest in (wrecked). Nice waste of a PPI. Helping the prospect spend money on a PPI when they could disclose this up front.

This is almost, but not quite, as bad as the 968 owner who totalled his car, and gave us daily updates from the hospital, moaning about the loss of the car and his injuries. It played well, until we found out that his passenger, a husband and father, died in the crash. Somehow he forgot to mention that . . .

Hey! This is kinda fun!
That pooour SSI guy is probably thinking/hoping/praying, "Won't those guys just let this thread DIE???"
Naaaaah! [pulling out my patio recliner chaise] Hey, Ilk -- throw me a beer!
I'm just gonna bump this thread, and bump it, and bump it some more.... (naaah. not really.)

$30K is a good price from a buyer's standpoint if the work was done to perfection. From a seller's standpoint it's hard to say - how much did he buy the wrecked car for, how much he spent in repairs, and finally, how much is the damaged reputation going to cost him in the long run...

I hope the buyer shot a 4-wheel alignment as part of the PPI, preferably after driving on a track or down a bumpy road at speed. If the car holds alignment, and does not have issues with rattles, chassis flex, wind leaks, and water leaks, then $30K could be a deal. I agree the damage to SSI's reputation is more significant than a few percent up or down on the price.
