Do you have any sound clips, and is yours a single, dual, or center outlet like in the picture?

Thats my car in the picture. The setup i have is loud due to us wanting to replicate what goes on to the race cars. A proper muffler would keep the same sound but would cut out some db level. It does not bother me but i also have been blessed with the option of having other vehicles to drive and heat is not needed as its away for the winter already.

Hold on am I reading this dyno right?Only 193?Unless I've been reading the wrong dyno sheets isn't this a massive drop in power?

350 hp V8 s4 makes 211 on that dyno, 193 for a 3.6 is not bad. its an honest awd dyno.

Why waste all that money on fancy headers etc just do what Greg did...cup pipe and G pipe, there is no better solution.

Because to some of us looks count even if it is under the engine where nobody will look... A set of headers instead of those heater boxes just looks soooooo sexy! Plus I can see more of the engine...

I have the G-pipe and cat-bypass.... and can't wait to take all that out and put a set of headers with dual exhaust exit...

Duel pipes are for turbos only...
You can only see the headers if you get down on the floor, doesnt really catch the eye

If you read my thread you will find that I spend a lot of time there... hahahahaha... always doing something to the car, whether it needs it or not... best therapy in the world.

Enjoy the weekend!!

That center outlet and the sound is completely badass. The weight savings over stock headers has to be considerable. The fabspeed cat bypass alone saved 11 pounds in the right place.

Anybody got a price for the full RSR setup yet? I may need to dig up some Prince Albert cans

I just saw the video. Must be painful in the cabin of that car. I know I have to use ear plugs with my headers and minimal muffler, I can only imagine what's going on in that owner's head

yeah, its loud. We have made other muffler options. The Maganflow straight throughs do very little. My setup is more for a race car that needs to stay within a DB spec. My car see's very little road use, 4000 kilometers last year with the occasional drives ed.

I have yet to hear one like that, but I am now curious and on the hunt to replicate that
That would be my car. It is a 89 C4 w/3.8L built by imagine auto (stephen caspers old car). The exhaust work was done by fabspeed (rsr headers,no cats, straight through muffler, they did the 2nd exhaust cut out for me). There is a lot of custom work done to the motor (993 cam carriers, custom cams, custom chip...etc). They video sounds good but doesnt do justice to what it sounds like in person.

Its not painful at all. All the sound is behind you. I listen to music while driving all the time.
