Fitting newer porsche seats?
Anyone fitted newer porsche seats on a 964?? I mean seats from a 996 or a boxster or something. I especially like those with the colored hard backing from the later models.
I wonder if they would fit? Especially the power connector and the rails.

Do a search. It is not hard. Some minor metal work on the bottom rail (sloped front, locating pin 2/3 of the way back) and rewire the Molex on the seat side. Not hard, just hard to do mentally with sparks flying and $3-$4k in seats under the tool. I will be doing the same when I put my 996 GT3 seats into my 993.

I am asking coz I found a small breaker here in the UAE carrying some of these newer seats. I don't think they are worth alot as the are all left on the floor in a pile of parts. Hmmm... let me see if this is going to work.
