No issue with where it is made per se- it's just that it's the only way I can identify the bad batch. The original unit in my car is made by the same company in germany and lasted 14 years, so was trying to replicate the quality. Who knows, the one from Hungary I had that didn't last long (and the ones a couple of other people on here had) could have literally been a bad batch and the company could be making great units in Hungary now.
I will buy a new one and keep the 2 old ones as spares, just was trying to see if others had found a better source.

Update on the Uro DME relay received today, popped the cover off to have and look and found a mess looks like a reworked part 2 or 3 bad solder joints where the pin's connect to the printed ck board.
fixed it up the best i could, now to make a jumper, out of the failed relay..
