Stupid - Gauge Replacement
I purchased a replacement oil temp/pressure gauge as my current gauge wasn't working and the paper coating is peeling.
I removed the current gauge with no issue and marked the two connectors as to where they were plugged in on the gauge. Then, having a moment of stupidity I forgot to look at their orientation.
I plugged them into the replacemnt gauge the way I thought they were originally oriented and everything on this gauge seems to be working properly. But, would the gauge work with the connectors oriented the opposite way? Does anyone know their proper orientation?
Actually, I didn't try the other way as I figured I would ask first. Could they even be plugged in incorrectly? They didn't seem to be keyed.
