Default Warning light deterioration

On my 1996 RS the warning lights in the oil pressure / oil temp gauge are deteriorating, only one year after I had the gauge replaced by a NOS item.

Are there any procedures how you can stop the film from peeling off the dial?

Thank you for your suggestions!

Send the gauge to North Hollywood Speedometer who can rescreenprint the gauge. The cost was about $100 when I had mine done. Well worth it.

I just had two gauges redone by these guys and I'm getting ready to send them two more. They do a bang up job.

Gentlemen,
sounds like a good outfit, however, shipping from Germany might be prohibitive.

Anybody know a similar service in Europe? Thanks again!

You could try Reap Automotive Design in the UK - tel: 020 8863 2305 ( you will have to add the UK prefix ). They are doing my complete set of gauges, along with a box full of various 911 gauges for my mechanic. Haven't seen the end result yet, but I was recommended to them via Rennlist.
