Default Horn Button Help

My left horn button does not work. According to several posts I've found on the subject I should be able to pry the horn button's pastic surround off of the steering wheel to fix what is broken.

My problem is, I can stick a small screw driver between the surround and the steering wheel, but it won't pry off and I don't feel what is holding it down. I am afraid to pry too much as something will break.

Help please, I need to have the car inspected on Monday and both button need to work to pass the inspection.

Never mind, I figured it out. You just need to pop of the button, not the surround. Under there is a metal plate which needs to sit on three plastic mounts and one metal mount. If the little metal plate isn't resting properly then when the button is pushed it doesn't press the plate down to make contact with the contact.
