Injector lead corrosion
Was taking out the injectors to send to Witchhunter for refurbishment.
The car's at 100k, so I figured it's time to do some house cleaning.
A year ago I'd gotten a #2 injector fault code. Found nothing at the time (with Garrett's help) but today's removal showed some nasty corrosion on injector #3. [injector closest to the driver] (first picture)
I have been getting a sporadic check-engine light over the past year, but nothing that threw a code.
Obstinately enough, #2's leads look clean as a whistle. (2nd picture) The other four are this clean, as well.
